Palm Beach Hedge Fund Association’s first event in New York City was a great success last week, demonstrating that the organization’s appeal extends beyond South Florida.
Hosted by PBHFA member Richard Drutman and his team at TriodePictures.com, the event took place on the 40th floor of 7 World Trade Center. “Silverstein Properties was amazing to work with and they provided us with an entire floor, offering breathtaking views of Manhattan and surrounding us with artwork created through Silverstein’s artists in residence program,” Richard noted.
In addition to the networking opportunities this new venue provided, Richard presented an innovative business model for profitably producing and selling feature films by lowering risk to distributors and streamers, as well as a glimpse into his upcoming movies.
An exclusive video for PBHFA members has been posted to edit-video.com/code-6
and includes a brief 8 minute version of the presentation, as well as an extended 21 minute version, replete with comedic tales from Richard’s career as a filmmaker, including an interview with Ralph Lauren at his personal office, with lessons Richard learned from Mr. Lauren’s previous business forays.
